Levante close the year in Vallecas, playing against Rayo (Sunday, December, 23; 16:15) and it could be a great chanche for the 'granotas' to get a win after losing against Barcelona; Borja Mayoral will close a 2018 in which he has achieved good successes.
After the painful visit of the leader in the Ciutat de València, Levante close the year playing against the penultimate in the table of LaLiga Santander: Rayo Vallecano, a team in troubles that have got 10 points and two victories and come from losing against Real Madrid (1-0) and Betis (2-0).
Rayo's coach Michel recovers Óscar Trejo and Raúl de Tomas for the last game of 2018, who couldn't play against Real Madrid. He can also count of Gael Kakuta, who played the last match in October (against Girona).
In Vallecas, Rayo Vallecano has won nine matches against Levante (Copa del Rey, LaLiga and Second division). The last time that the team from Valencia got points in Madrid in the First division was on 2013, when Levante won thanks to Rubén García and Andreas Ivanschitz (1-2).
Borja Mayoral closes the year with great successes. He won the Champions League, playing some matches and scoring against BVB at Bernabéu. With the Spanish U21 national team, he got the pass for the next European championship that will be played on June in Italy and San Marino and he was the best scorer of the team with 11 goals.
In the second part of the year, after starting the pre-season with Real Madrid, Borja Mayoral signed for Levante, on loan. He has played 11 of the 18 matches of the season and has scored a goal in each competition: against Lugo in Copa del Rey and against Eibar in LaLiga Santander.
