With three goals and two assist from the Argentinian player, Valverde's Barcelona, the leader of LaLiga Santander, stormed the Ciutat de València and defeat the 'granota' team led by Paco López for 0-5.

The game started well for Levante. Moving the ball and they wasn't suffrering too much Barcelona's game. The visitors were not comfortable with the defense of three, due to Semedo's last minute injury. And the team led by Paco López tried to take advantage of the situation.

However, the best local chance of the first half hit the crossbar. Boateng's missile inside the area was the biggest scare for Ter Stegen in the first 45 minutes. Barcelona was suffering. Until Messi wanted. The Argentinian dribbled half defensa and left Suárez alone to score the first goal of the match.

Since then, it was a 'culé' monologue. An error from Rochina made Busquets leave Messi alone in front of Oier, who could do nothing in the one vs one. After the break, Messi decided to end the Levante affair and scored his personal hat-trick to sentence the match and keep Barça leader alone.

Paco López decided to move the bench and gave space to Borja Mayoral. The striker from Parla had the best 'granota' chance of the second half, but Ter Stegen appeared to deny him the goal of honor. Then, Piqué scored the fifth after Messi's pass.
